The list is subjective. There's not one film on that list that is more disturbing than "Salo". I don't know what my friend sees in it. Maybe the cinematography or the sets or the good-looking young people. I don't care. I hate that film.

"Heavenly Creatures" should easily have been on the list. It is both highly disturbing and very beautiful. It brought out the best in Peter Jackson. What interesting subject matter.
