Don't remember any bank robbery in The Lion King as I've seen that movie quite a few times as a kid.

One of the very best is $$$$$ (Dollars) starring Warren Beatty and Goldie Hawn, which also features one of the best, and longest, chase scenes.

I think I was about ten when I saw it. But I remembered the plot. I think I liked it at the time, but have no idea what I would think now. It sounds like a genial little film and sometimes that's exactly what I am looking for.

My favorite movie bank robbery scene is from Jonathan Demme's "Caged Heat".

I have a really old vhs copy of this. Would like to see again. Demme focused more on the action and scenario if I recall, than cheap exploitation thrills.

I'd say "Caged Heat" is a little bit of everything. But, yes, probably not as much exploitation as many other films from the same genre. There is plenty of nudity, but none of it is titillating. And who decided that was a good word for what it's supposed to mean, anyway?
There are some really funny parts in CH. It feels like Demme put a lot of himself into it. He usually did. I always thought that JD probably had a big heart.
"Caged Heat" was the movie I picked to show to my first boyfriend in order to make a good impression. It did, he enjoyed it.
