Is Bonnie's mother still a vampire, a witch, both, neither? She said she and Bonnie no longer had powers, which suggests she's a witch again, but she was turned into a vampire a few seasons ago.
Also, was it the closing of the other side when they reverted back to what they werelike Tyler becoming human until he killed another person which turned him back into a werewolf? -

She no longer has her magic because she is a vampire.
Tyler turned back to just a (non-triggered) werewolf when the Travellers pushed him past the no magic boundary spell they had around Mystic Falls.

Inside. Like when Elena removed Ric's compulsion by stepping inside the boundary and Ric was cured of his vampirism by being inside the boundary but it's been removed so.
