Yes she took the cure. She was put in the sleeping spell after.

She turned into a vampire when she died in the lake and had vampire blood in her system. Then took the cure to be human again

How could you possibly not know that Elena took the cute last season? Did you just jump in mid season? Damon was gonna take it with her but then Kai put her in a sleep curse.
