I think it was around 1995/6 , I was in high school. It was the best thing my parents ever bought.

Showcase had some pretty racy stuff on back in the early nineties till about the late nineties. I remember as a kid trying to fine tune the UHF to descramble the playboy station,I made my own antennas and stuff and if the alignment of the stars were right, I could unscramble it enough to make it watchable

My friends dad had one of the first residential satellite dishes in town, the thing was freaking massive, this was back in the early mid eighties.Lots of interesting stations from all around the world.
