The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is another fun sci-fi show.
I suppose Mork and Mindy might count also.

so interesting how you mention mst3k bc after looking at the guy on the far left in that red dwarf picture i though to this show bc he looks like a funny nerd.
you know i've never watched red dwarf but eveytime someone like my friend would mention this show i'd always think of mst3k bc they both are cult sci fi comedy shows.
