I just finished watching the new Dracula show. I thought it was okay, but it's enjoyable. Though, I like how they make Dracula comical yet unpredictably terrifying at the same time. He's rather charming. Are they trying to mix dark comedy and horror in this show?

Have you seen the show Van Helsing, the one that's playing on SyFy channel? With Kelly Overton playing the main character?

No, I haven't seen it. Is it any good? Oh, I don't know who Kelly Overton is, so that wouldn't be a factor. But do you like it? Is it a recommendation?

Kelly Overton played one of the characters in True Blood, that werewolf chick. She only lasted a couple of seasons. IF you still don't know her, well, I don't blame you.
She's not a well known actress but she's good.
Anyway, about the show, the first season isn't well received and I thought it was okay. I didn't expect a couple of twists, though. But it did pick up in the final three episodes, and the second season is much better. The acting got better as well. But it's a bit similar to The Walking Dead except with vampires and the supernatural elements.
There are four seasons, and in my opinion, the fourth season is my favorite. It's not that good, but it's a damned entertaining series.
