What a gem of a find thanks for posting!

The first time I saw color TV was at a friend's grandmother's house, and "Arthur Murray's Dance Party" was on. Katherine Murray was wearing a red/pink gown, and the color bled across the screen, as she danced. People's skin tones were varying shades of green. I still thought that it was pretty cool. -

Mr and Mrs Murray had ALL KINDS of people on that dance show. I wasn't a regular viewer, but I would tune in now and then just to see who their guest dancers were.
I'll never forget the night New York Mets rookie pitcher Tom Seaver and Red Sox outfielder Carl Yastrzemski were the guest dancers. They weren't the greatest ballroom dancers you ever saw, but they weren't the worst either. They didn't embarrass themselves.
Most of my friends who have inferiority complexes are absolutely right.
