The show's good nature as well as real laughs is just so irresistible.

I've never seen "Beetlejuice".
I generally like MK, but I couldn't stand "Birdman". And I have no problem saying that it went right over my head. It was a very frustrating experience.

I despised BIRDMAN
Was totally unenthused and the film just neglected some of its characters towards the end.
An obnoxious man having a spiritual crisis that I couldn't care less about.
Have you seen BIRDY - '84? Now that one I recommend.

We are in full agreement here.
An obnoxious man having a spiritual crisis
…so, is this what the movie is about? I couldn't even get this much out of it. Except for the obnoxious guy part.
Watching this mind-numbing film reminded me of trying to get through "Adaptation". Was totally lost from the start. They might as well just have dumped me off in the middle of a corn field and I would keep running into evil children. That's how enjoyable "Adaptation" was. And I tried to watch it maybe three times, with no luck.

I've never ventured into
Adaptation
, except the first 5mins and promptly shut it off.
It was supposed to be one of those "out there", early millennial new wave kind of films.
I never really cared for
Donny Darko
either which has some sort of strange following.
