It starred Monte Markham (Blanche's brother Clayton on Golden Girls) as a guy who'd been frozen in a glacier or something

I like the premise but it couldn't hold my interest so I only saw the first few episodes.

It was okay. Monte Markham was a hunk.

It was about a miner frozen in glacier or avalanche and was brought back to life played by Monte Markham who experienced culture shock while living with his son- Arthur O'Connell and his grandson also played by Monte Markham. Also in the cast was Frank Maxwell

I didn't see The Second Hundred Years first run, I was born the year it started, but I did see it in reruns on cable in the '80s. It was an unusual premise, but was a funny show.
Markham also played Barney Hiller on the Six Million Dollar Man. On the show he was the second person to get bionics, even before Jaime Sommers. He was known as Barney Miller in his first episode early in season 2, but by the time he returned for a second appearance in season 3 ABC had another show with the main character with the name Barney Miller, so they changed his last name to Hiller. Markham was also the original choice to play Steve Austin in the 6M$Man.

I remembered that it was run on a station like CBN(Family Channel) or USA Network. It must have been USA because I found a few episodes on
Youtube with the USA Network bumpers before the commercial breaks.

The show's pilot is on YouTube. I remember Monte Markham for his brief turn as "The New Perry Mason" in 1973.
There is an episode of MST3K (I think it's one of the "Master Ninja"s or "Riding with Death") wherein TV's Frank is literally begging for a revival of "The Second Hundred Years." I can't seem to find that bit on YouTube.

I don't think Frank is in Riding w Death so probably not that one. Great to hear from a fellow MSTie!

Yup, MSTie for life here. Turns out it was at the close of "Master Ninja II." Here's the bit with Frank pleading for the return of TSHY:

For sure I remember this and I probably caught a few episodes but it couldn't hold the attention of my 11 year old self.

I READ about it in my tv book.
“Call a SPADE, a SPADE; and a TRANNY, a TRANNY, or an IT!!!”.
                              "THAT'S SOME BAD
                              SHIT
                              ,
                              HARRY
                              !".
