I have always loved Tales from the Darkside! One of my fave is the one with a young Christian Slater. I think it was called Bad Case of the Stubborn. Or something like that. It was about a boy's grandfather that had died but he refuse to lay down and he didn't believe he was dead until he had some proof.

I enjoyed TFTD. At its best, it could be about as scary as you could get on basic cable tv (and with a basic cable tv budget). The pilot ("Trick or Treat") was superb, and I always liked episodes like "The Last Car", "Black Cutty Sow", and especially "Seasons of Belief" (watch that one every Christmas, LOL).
At its not so besteh. There were a few clunkers here and there - I still hate the one about the woman debt collector who gets cursed by the angel Michael - but overall, still worth a look. -

I also like the Black Cutty Sow! One of my least favorite was the woman who tries to lose weight using these special ear phones where she can hear the veggies and fruit being eaten aliveand because of that she ends up sewing her mouth shut.

You might also like 'Amazing Stories' and 'Monsters,' then. They covered a lot of the same themes as 'Twilight Zone.' I haven't heard of 'One Step Beyond;' was that an American show?

Loved this show as a kid when it originally aired. My favorites were the one with the monster in the little bedroom closet, the woman who was actually a spider and ate her husband, and the one with the creepy pale with black eyes dolls.

I'm a big fan of this show. The production values were a bit on the shoddy side, but the quirky creative writing and casting of character actors like Keenan Wynn, Vic Tayback, and Danny Aiello in juicy lead roles compensated for that quite well.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything. -

I like both and probably cant make up my mind which is better but both are classic, a lot of fun, and brought a great genre in a great way.

Technically it's an 80's show with an 80's feel.
So it counts!

Like I said, you waited 12 days to reply to me. That's just strange, you dumb pussy.
