I see the 80s group has the second lowest posts; almost as low as the '40s group who are mostly dead. Gee, how about MOONLIGHTING, and the one with the gal detective who needed a male to front for the boss?
Y'all must remember some good stuff then; wasn't COLUMBO still on in the 80s? -

I took photos using a 1980s camera recently, the Kodak Gimini (their spelling, not mine). Had some light leak problems, but they may have been due to bad backing paper on the film rather than any fault with the camera.
It takes 110 film, currently made by the Lomography company.

It seems to have been a children's camera. I am, in fact, the first person to upload photos taken with it to flickr.
Today, I listened to a number of 1980s songs, including three by Cyndi Lauper.
I might play some 1980s video games today. It has a while since I used the Commodore 16, I might play with it.
EDIT: Via emulators, I played the following 1980s games:
Drunk Driver- Released on Jupiter Ace, despite the odd title this is a standard racing game of the period.
Marien Kafer - Released on Colour Genie, a Pac-Man clone which requires more strategy than is usually the case.
Mampf Man II - Also released on Colour Genie, this too is a Pac-Man clone. It plays pretty well.
Have you played Atari today?

Well, I'm currently watching Mama's Family on MeTV throughout the week after realizing it is airing. Caught the last 2 episodes of Season 2 and Season 3 is airing. I think I rather the seasons with Bubba in them. He appears in Season 3.

I recently took photos using a popular camera of the 1980s, Polaroid Spectra. As we all know, Polaroid went bust a while ago, but a company called Impossible Project is now making the film. Unfortunately, their version of the film is iffy. Fortunately, these iffy results provided atmosphere to the photos I took. I'll be uploading them eventually.
Today I played the game "Death Race 16" on the Commodore 16 computer. Its a nice game, not sure why they gave it such a strange title. The gameplay is fun, and the graphics are simple but nice.
Also, via an emulator I played "ZX Gobbleman", a decent (but rather hard) Pac-Man clone for the ZX81 home computer. The ZX81 sold very well in Britain, despite the fact that it had no sound, no colour, and came with only 1 kilobyte of RAM! Of course, it was later shipped with a RAM pack add-on for an additional 16 kilobytes of RAM.
As time went on, the price became lower and lower, and eventually it was sold at £45 complete with RAM pack and free game on cassette.

Today, I listened to some 1980s music, including the album "Computer World" by Kraftwerk, and a number of 1982 tracks by ABBA.
I also played a number of 1980s home computer games via emulators, for systems such as the Dragon 32 and Commodore 16.

I love 1980's music and videos
I can't stand 1980's Tv shows nor the "movie scene" really. I'll never tell anyone that though.
Its always been that way with me. Even when the 1980's was all hot and heavy I only ~loved~ the music I never really paid any attention to the movies or the TV.
