- Karate Kid (the human story stands the test of time and holds up to repeat viewings)
- Nightmare on Elm St. (far more original than the others)
- Lethal Weapon (close one)
- Terminator (more suspenseful and stands the test of time more)
- The Breakfast Club (the human story thing againFootloose had a silly premise IMO)
- Rambo: First Blood (another close oneboth sucked)
- Goonies (another close one, but Goonies are good enough for meyeah, I went there)
- Beetlejuice (test of time again)
- Return Of the Jedi/Empire Strikes Back (close again)
- Back to the Future 1 and 2 (because Ghostbusters 2 sucked big time)
