    @Toronto.that's ok I understand.
@Paco.you right the question can go two ways. Like you said on your 2nd statement I would do things different in my 9th grade year by focusing more on school instead of trying to be popular and fit in.

That depends. If we go back to said year, do we relive our entire lives from that year or do we go back to the present time after that year ends?

1994-1995.EASILY because I was at my highest peak in life at 6 and 7 yrs old. I felt so secure and happy in my own skin. Most of my main fave female artists were at their peak of their careers. Great shows and music. The year I graduated from Kindergarten, when we got cable, when I had my best friend, bubble baths, my aunt and uncle got married (even though I never attended), all my barbie dolls and stuffed animals, and summer camps. 1996 and 1997 were good years as well.
2nd grade was my most favorite school year of them all!!!
        -sailor moon
-when i was infatuated with japanese culture
-When we had a visitor from Japan in school teaching us about their culture.
        _Summer camps
        -Pioneer club
        -christmas shows at school.
Nice 2 laugh, but don't be the joke.

Either '97 or '98. Some of my earliest and fondest memories are from those years when I started kindergarten in '97, made new friends, began to see/understand the world better, found what I liked to do and what I was good at, etc. It would be cool to revisit that part of my life again.
From those years, I remember starting school, seeing my first hockey game up-close, watching the Jonny Lang concert on Disney Channel and thinking he was so cool and talented (he's from my home state), memorizing the 1998 remake of The Parent Trap word-for-word, The Wizard of Oz, and a LOT of Mary-Kate and Ashley.

I'd love to experience 4th grade (1995-96) again. It was easily the best school year of my life, which is kind of depressing in a way. My best friend was in the same class as me and I made so many new friends that year. Our core group consisted of 7 kids and I was sort of the glue guy. We were a mischievous group and would always pull pranks. I remember one time we brought a snake into school and the teacher nearly fainted. I didn't have cable at the time, so no Nickelodeon or MTV. TV was great on weekday afternoons, Friday nights, and Saturday mornings. But there was nothing for kids on Saturday and Sunday in the afternoon. I used that time to go on outdoor adventures, play sports, and build forts. That was also the last year I believed in Santa. I wish I still had the imagination I did when I was a kid.

Interesting @ Crazy. I love Christmas but I think I stop believing in Santa after the age of 13.

I'd pick 1998 or 1999. South Park, Scream and the original PlayStation define the 90's to me. I know that the Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis and golden age of The Simpsons probably define the decade better, but I am not old enough to have experienced them personally.

                    1. I was seven that year and it was a pretty awesome year for me. I got Totally Hair Barbie for my birthday, TLC came out that year, my family and I visited my mother's side of the family in Brazil for the first time, and I met my best friend to this day that very same year. 1995 is the runner up for me.

I hear you on the family member part. I would give anything to have my grandmother alive again, my great grandmother, my grandfather (mom dad), my aunt (mom sister). Then I see what you mean also by how everyone grow up and drift away that is how I feel about some of my cousins my age I was close to when I was little but after about 21 years of age my cousins left and went on with their own lives.

Around 1994-95 when I used to watch programmes like Gladiators, Blind Date and Baywatch. Or late 90's when we had the soap opera Sunset Beach.

                            1. Easily and without question it was the best year of my life. I was in college and spent the year around the greatest friends I've ever had.

1994 was an incredible year for movies.
                              Kid/family movies:
                              The Lion King
                              The Little Rascals
                              Angels in the Outfield
                              D2: The Mighty Ducks
                              Richie Rich
                              Little Giants
                              Little Big League
                              Monkey Trouble
                              Baby's Day Out
                              Camp Nowhere
                              Blank Check
                              The Pagemaster
                              Andre
                              Return of Jafar
                              Christmas movies:
                              The Santa Clause
                              Miracle on 34th Street remake
Three Jim Carrey movies: The Mask, Ace Ventura, and Dumb & Dumber!
Some other great movies I was too young to enjoy at the time - Speed, Pulp Fiction, True Lies, Forrest Gump, The Shawshank Redemption, Leon: The Professional, etc.
It was also a strong year for television. Seinfeld and The Simpsons were in their primes. Friends, My So-Called Life, Party of Five, The Critic, Sister Sister, ER, Gargoyles, Spider-Man, and Earth 2 all debuted that year. It was also a huge year for Nickelodeon with the premieres of All That, Alex Mack, Aaahh Real Monsters, and My Brother and Me.
TGIF featured a lineup of Family Matters, Boys Meets World, Step by Step, and Hangin' with Mr. Cooper.

This is interesting. I would pick 1995. It was my last year in primary school, I believe the best season of the Simpsons was being aired that year in Australia. Seinfeld was in its prime. Same with The X-files. Friends hadn't been released here yet. Basically, it was a year where I had zero reponsibility and TV was awesome.

Probably anywhere from 1995-1999 because those are years I can remember the most. But I'll go with '98-99, my sixth grade year. 😛
