I can't believe no one has said it yet.IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA!!!!
Over the span of it's 5 seasons (and hopefully more if it doesn't get cancelled) It's Always Sunny has stayed consistently HILARIOUS. I find the newer seasons just as funny, if not funnier, as the 1st or 2nd ones. Obviously everyone perceives comedy in their own way, however, I've found this show to be on a level that no other show is or has ever been. The character development is just rediculous in terms of depth and the more you get to know these characters, the funnier the show becomes.
I could probably write a book on why I find this show so brilliant, so I'll just say this.if you haven't seen it yet, do yourself a favor and wacth it. Pick any random episode and I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts by th end of the Ep. you'll be in a comedy induced coma.
I apologize if I come off a tad strong as I don't mean to flame anyone elses fav. show.I just love this show sooo much. -

I have to agree with It's always sunny in Philadelphia. I've never watched a show where all the characters were so vile, rude, and self-absorbed that I'm always rooting that they will fail in the end, but it's soooo hilarious to see their antics. Usually, I hate it when shows add a cast member later on, but I think they enhanced the show when they added Danny DeVito on this show. I love him here almost as much as I loved him on Taxi.

CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM (L.D. is the funniest ever !)
i think it's the 2nd best comedy ever behind only Seinfeld
also love Arrested Development and How I met your Mother -

Malcolm in the Middle was great.
Also Ugly Betty was pretty funny too IMObut the traditioal 'sitcom' doesn't seem to be around much more. HIMYM is a great throwback to the way sitcoms once were - with audiences.
