Any one think that the galloping gourmet was a total jerk with condensending remarks against blacks?

He was a heavy drinker, if that matters.most of his shows were done under the influence

He was a drunk back in the day and an all-around jerk, by his own admission but he got saved, turned his life around, and did a very pleasantly uplifting cooking show for a while afterward. He also wrote some diet books, as I recall so his life wasn't defined by the "Galloping Gourmet."
You will probably disagree. That's the nature of discussions they have two sides.
