I only vaguely remember the storyline, but this girl had spiky blond hair, heavy eyeliner, crazy eyes, kind of hoarse voice (and no it wasn't Demi Moore). She was obsessed with or jealous of a popular character and she threatened her at work with a gun. Weird how I remember that actor's voice, energy, demeanor, etc., but not much else. She just scared me!
Any idea who this character was?

Are you sure it was General Hospital? The character sounds like punk rocker Darcy Dekker from Guiding Light. Darcy hated Beth Raines, her rival for the affections of gang member Lujack. Darcy was always threatening somebody with a gun and took a bunch of people hostage at Cedars Hospital

You are right! I had posted this on another board, and got 'Heather Webber' as an answer, but I knew that wasn't it. I had started thinking maybe it was another soap but couldn't remember which one.
