American Soap operas in comparison to Spanish language Soap Operas: Damn, boring, dry, pieces of crusty croutons. A Black oriented Soap Opera. Now that's scandalous 'cause Black folks are hard core freaky.

Soaps are diverseYoung and the Restless ,for example, has a black family and mixed race relationships. General Hospital= Black, Hispanic, Asian, etc, Daysmany have at least two races besides caucasian. Maybe you aren't watching?
Maybe you are biased?
Soaps still have a large audience. The networks want to make money, they are running out of funds and they only care about the money, not the fans. So, they pull the soaps off the schedule and disappoint the fans. They don't care about peoplejust money. -

Actually, I don't watch soaps. I get breakdowns for them all the time, and all I see is 'Caucasian' indicated as the race they're casting for.

Think what you want. I don't discriminate against anyone. Check my roster. Racism is going to bankrupt this place. It'll be a long time coming, too.

American soaps lack diversity. There are still very few black characters on soaps. If there are black characters, they are minor or background characters rarely leads. "General Hospital" is a great example of this. It's the reason many people are turned off by soaps nows.
