In your opinion.

I don't even need to blink to answer this question. Watching ST: DS-9 episodes even for the 10th time over the years still brings me to a special place of complete "suspension of belief."
The acting was A level. The guest stars usually crushed their roles. The writing was incredible. I have watched all the extras for the DVD. I have the whole series in a VERY much improved fan AI-enhanced(TOPAZ software) 24fps and 1080p version. Yes, I purchased a brand new box set of DVD's years ago.
After watching "What We Left Behind: Looking Back at Star Trek: Deep Space Nine", I am SO GRATEFUL to producers Brannon and Pillar who nixed all of Ira Steven Behr's uber-WOKE ideas. My Lord!
Behr was brilliant when contained. But, if he was let loose back in the 90's we would have ended up with a load of excruciating woke, drivel, crap. I never knew until the documentary came out. The man's over the top woke ideas would have destroyed the show.
He now sports a bright neon-blue goatee to show he's part of the woke blue-haired mob. I BLESSED Pillar and Brannon every time I heard Behr complain about how many times they squashed his radical woke ideas.
For the 1990's (looking back) it was actually VERY woke disguised in SCI-FI. But there were enough solid writers who saved the day like Wolf and Ronald D Moore.
IDK what is my second fave. STNG, probably. It still holds up. I watch ALL of them, but very little after ST:ENTERPRISE. (I have to SKIP the song every time! Nails on a chalk board.) -

I like the original best. It might have been a bit cheesy at times, and some of the 'monsters' were laughable, but the chemistry between all the characters and the sheer originality of it keeps me thinking it was never bettered.
