Technically Bobby if from the North of England Elle but being from oop North is somewhat similar to being Southern Scottish. We've got the Lake District between us and that's sort of like a baby version of the mountains proper like in Wales and Scotland

Well this is very touching indeed.
My nervousness and anxiety are still sky high of course but this has eased things slightly and given me a smidgen more confidence.
️
Honestly I would just be happy to land a place in the ensemble. You still get the glitz and glamour of the stage and sometimes they give members of the ensemble a line to say and that would be nice.

Thank you Juan, it is me as a handsome Prince.

I’m afraid though Juan that my confidence has taken further knocks.
I went out to she shops today and when I returned I noticed that a bunch of my awful neighbours were stood about talking (they’re always outside their houses chatting in groups). Anyway as usual they looked my way at me approaching the house, started whispering to themselves and laughing. I tried to ignore them as usual but couldn’t this time as I really did not need it, so before I went in the front door I turned back to them and shouted ‘well you might all laugh at me but it is ME going to these auditions tomorrow and I’m going to get a PLUM ROLE!!’ which made them laugh much harder as I went inside. About five minutes later I looked out of my bedroom window and noticed them all still there chatting away. My temper got the better of me so I opened the window with the intention of shouting ‘sedagive’ at them, but you know how much I struggle with that one so I instead shouted down ‘SEDATIVE’ at them. They looked up and I’m immediately laughed at and cajoled and do you know what I did? I shut the window, dived on my bed, head under pillow and cried loud and long.

Don't let positive things like that knock your confidence Bobby
The great thing about experiences like that is you are getting all the silly mistakes out of the way and so won't repeat them when the time comes.
Heck, I wish I'd made all my mistakes as early on as possible so that my jib would have been a nicer cut straight at first gust
But that's not how it works Bobby, we get there slowly but surely learning along the way and your neighbours, without know it, gave you a huge boost in confidence today by having you stand up to them
Now while the line might have been wrong, the intention was not - and that's the secret!
Keep up the good work Bobby and you'll be prancing around the stage like a trooper in no time.
What time is the audition tomorrow Bobby?

Thanks Juan. I shall try and look at it that way but it’s difficult and if I don’t get a role tomorrow then it will make things even worse with the neighbours because I’ll have nothing to shove in their faces other than bitter failure.
There are two lots of auditions…one is at 12:30 and the other is later at 18:30 (presumably for these who work standard 9-5 hours). I am on A/L this week so could go to either, but I’m going to go to the earlier audition and get it over and done with.
I have my clothes picked out. I have a Thundercats logo t shirt that a friend got me and I never wore, denim 3 quarter lengths, Converse trainer boots and red and white stripy socks. That will all make me look quite am dramish I think.

It is the most awesome looking one Bobby, yes
However, I know you can be delicate and fragile in high stress situations (Like any smart person is) and I don't want that black colour clouding our mind with backstage shenanigans and trickery of the spirit world sort
I wouldn't even wear it near the audition, it might put something into their heads Bobby
Go for a nice flannel shirt light of colour and full of vibrancy. Or something similar
Make that first impression that you are a cultured mind who they'd be lucky to have associated with the play and they should be trying to impress you Bobby
I know that it will all work out fine

Oh sugarsnaps I did not even think about that one, Juan! Of course…dark colours may make them assume that I would like a more…shut away sort of troll like role in the production. The sort of seen and not heard type of role. The ones who get complained at and belittled when I want to be one of the ones DOING the complaining and belittling.
