dont you just ****ing hate that? It's normally the ****ty side characters, but for some reason i ****ing LOVE side characters, I cheered like hell when Neville Longbottom sliced of Naginis head like that! Something so satisfying about the side guys getting a big momment that impacts the story greatly.
But then on the same note, characters like Wormtail ( also from Harry Potter ) who have been in like 5 movies in the franchise, just completely get written out of the story. His last scene in HP was him getting knocked out from behind by Luna Lovegood I think it was, we never see him again. Fuck knows what became of him. WHY did they go through the effort of having Voldermort magic him a metal hand like 6 movies ago if they were not gunna use it to KILL him like in the books?
Most recently it was Murray from Stranger Things. Dude was a good side guy for 4 seasons, even invited along to the final battle with Vecna, last we see of him he is getting his face slammed into a car bonnet by a soldier and its a blink and miss it scene, he is not in the final wrap up scenes, he could have been raped and murdered in prison for all we know.
He was there from almost the start and his last scene was so unmemorable.
Has this pissed you off in other media before? give examples please. -

Meltdown. Just like I had when I met an old and dirty homeless person. He took me out to dinner — we sat at a big and busy table. He bought me a cheap-ass necklace. During the commotion at the table, I raised my trembling and sickly paw to my necklace and made a meowing sound, just as we made eye contact.
