I didn't meet them at the same time.
I met Stu and Doug backstage in 1995 in Atlanta after their band Creedence Clearwater Revisited played their first concert after they had gotten the legal right to use that name and perform the Creedence songs… Fogerty had sued them to prevent all that. Great guys… very personable.
They've got videos on YouTube if you're interested.
I met Fogerty in '97 in Charlotte at sound check the afternoon before his new band performed that night.

The first famous person I ever met was Howie Stertz from Dairyland Jubilee!!!
He was the leader of a Polka band and they had their own local TV dance show…
Something similar to Dick Clark's American Bandstand, only with a Polka Beat…
but you could dance to it!
When I was little, it came on every Saturday night after the local news. I learned how to polka because of that show.
I could dance at every wedding after that because of that man!
I met him when I was 6 at a personal appearance at an appliance store in Marshfield Wisconsin! 1961!
I was STARSTRUCK!
I Never met anyone who had appeared on my TV screen!!!
True Story!

I've been to concerts, but never actually met any of the Eagles, Linda Rondstadt, Glen Campbell, Peter Noone or Don Mclean.
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.
