It was a fun time and we shall make it a regular event! 🙂 I apologise for my Italy being at the wrong angle and not looking much like the country.

No your Italy was perfect Bobby!
It was me who didn't see it and you shouldn't feel bad about it in the slightest
I'm sure if other people were watching they would have known straight away what you were drawing
For the record, an old boss of mine has died.
Just found out. They were a great boss and far too young to have died under normal circumstances. Just goes to show I suppose…

Oh dear that’s not good. I’m sorry to hear that news. How long is it since he was your boss?
This might somewhat cheer you up as a story. Speaking of work I’ve just realised today that as I am on Holiday after tomorrow until Christmas Eve, I’ll get to skip all of the Alan Christmas present debacle that I’ve endured for the previous two years.
You see a client of ours (Alan) is visited by his sister in law about a week before Christmas with a bag of presents. Alan has a very hard time waiting until Christmas Day to open them. Each year he has opened them within a couple of days after her visit. He’s ok for a short time waiting but then he can’t any longer. I try to dissuade him by telling him he’ll regret it and feel bad because he’ll have nothing to open on Christmas Day but he’ll shout ‘oh shut up with your ****ing Christmas Day’. Then he’ll open them and immediately feel awful and the aftermath is terrible!
Anyway I get to skip right over all of that this year. 😊 I’ve had the brunt of it the last couple of years so I deserve it.

            Firstly it was a she.
Secondly it sounds like Alan is a pain the the bottom.
And lastly, let's enjoy ourselves Bobby
All this work is meant to build to something, let's make it built to a cresndo of giving
And if that isn't noticed then buggery to it all!

Alan has very complex needs. Overall he’s a lovable man who absolutely loves music and books (to the point where he’s a walking encyclopaedia of knowledge with both) and I have learned a lot from him and also discovered some great music which I was unaware of. I (as I’m sure you know) tend to remember random bits of information so I can hold down a conversation with him on a lot of this…so long as I have occasional sneaky looks at my phone. 🙂
We have had some lovely evenings watching Tales of the Unexpected/Alfred Hitchcock Presents/various concerts on Sky Arts together (which I get paid for) and if he gets grumpy with me, he’ll always want to apologise afterwards. 🙂
As for fun, have you seen my Christmas viewing of the past poll?

I don't know about the past poll Bobby but oddly I have just done a weekend's worth of Tales of the Unexpected. I thought I was talking to you about it but maybe hat was all part of my process
