No. If I had kids I would want them to get lost. But if I was someone else who wanted to keep them the answer is still no. They deserve to feel like they're not being constantly tracked.

We're sort of already in that territory if you think about it: cellphones. Kids these days, and many adults, don't wander far without their cellphones. It's like an umbilical cord.
I am no fan of things like digital surveillance, social credit scores, the lot of what's being put in place. Our "right to privacy" has been lost for ages and it's only getting to get worse.
On an off note, kids need to get lost on occasion, so they can learn how to find their way back to their home.

I know. The cell phone location tracking thing is overkill too. I can understand turning it on in an emergency if you actually think they might be in danger but for day to day purposes they should be allowed to **** up occasionally and deal with the consequences.

I understand how and why using air tags and GPS locators on the phone can be helpful (especially on luggage when traveling, for example). But it's the idea of day-to-day monitoring that I have a hard time with.
This really does remind me of Minority Report, where everyone's retinae are scanned at birth and everywhere you go, you're greeted with customized ads based on your browsing history or shopping or lifestyle. They're used to access pretty much everywhere you go.
With facial recognition surveillance systems all over, I can't help but feel we're pretty much already there - or at least 90% there. That final 10% is going to be dangerous and irreversible step.

Sounds like a good way for the Epstein class to know where to find kids any time they'd like.

                      You should have been microchipped.
That would make it easier to track the movements of retards.

I think it would probably **** up the mental health of the kid if they felt they were being watched at all times. It would be like a prison. It would make it hard to develop as an individual.

That's the whole point of tags, isn't it? I know a few people who put them in school bags, coats, even shoes lol
But if it was 100% safe, a tiny microcrip the size of a grain of rice or smaller, and given consent from my children to do so, I absolutely would. You can never be too safe.
There's actually a woman on tiktok called 'chip girl' who has a microchip in her hand for numerous locks around her house. I think it's awesome tbh

Why would you care about consent? Didn't you have your daughter's ears pierced without her consent when she was a baby?

I think I know which girl you're talking about that is chipped to access her house. Can't she also scan her chip to make purchases from self-checkouts? She can do pretty much anything, access where she needs/wants to and fees (ie: for food) are just deducted automatically from her bank account. Is that the same woman?
I can imagine if you live in a dangerous place where wanting to chip your children might be handy if, for example, it's a high crime area.
You're right about the air tags, though. What freaks me out about them is if they're ever somehow put on people unwittingly. It's a stalker's dream!
