So good. Olivia Coleman as usual is fantastic. Really good cast and based on true events.

I just love that it inspired Olivia to go on and be Harriet in The Green Wing which eventually landed her the role of Prisoner Zero (As a possessed mother)
She had a big career ahead of her back then

She was good in Broadchurch when she…well I don't know if you've seen it so I'll leave that part there
She mad a great Queen Elizabeth the 2nd too
I thought that she played her gracefully and tried not to bring anything untoward…

Broadchurch is on my list of series to watch. I thought she did QE2 quite well.

Just as well I caught myself then Potty, Broadchurch is very good. Well, the first series is excellent and then the rest are good but not quite up to the first run and so you'll probably enjoy it all but it does dip a little after the big opening season.
You get to see Jodie Whittaker in it (Along with David Tennant) and there's loads of Who actors throughout the show. Which I quiet like because I'm a bit of a fan of all that

I like Michelle Gomez (she was also in
                      The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
). She is a fantastic actor and can convey quite a bit with just a look.
Tamsin Greig is also great and funny. There was another show she was in with Stephen Mangin and Joey from Friends (being himself). I forgot the name.
I never warmed up to Sarah Alexander, even in
                      Coupling
, which is one of my favourite Brit-Coms of all time. Lest we forget the Giggle Loop!
I was totally crushed out on Julian Rhind-Tutt. Remember his date with a Lady. (A
                      real
                      one!)

Of course I remember Michelle Gomez, she's from my hometown, played Missy in Doctor Who and used to be in a show called
                        The Book Group
with Anne Dudek (Cutthroat Bitch from House) before she did The Green Wing (Rory McCann who played The Hound in Game of Thrones and Yarp in Hot Fuzz was in it too! Rebecca from the two The Descent movies also
                        )
The Tamsin Greig/Stephen Mangin thing was called 'Episodes'. It was fun(ish) but a little dry on the humour and heavy on the insecurities. Fun enough.
Sarah Alexander was at her best on Smack The Pony, just before The Green Wing. Always a joy but the only thing about Coupling that counted was Jeff. Now the Giggle Loop was good, but to my mind at least there was a better moment. The best moment! It's when he chats up that Israeli girl and neither or them know what the other is saying.
And Julian Rhind-Tutt, Doctor Mac. The Lion King himself
                        What a show Lilith
Did you know that John Oliver appears briefly in one episode?

Yes! The Israeli girl episode was a hoot!
                          Name?
                          Breasts?
Did you know that Jeff made up that language on the spot, and he just winged everything? I for sure thought they created a very real "artificial language," much like Klingon, so that it would come across as fluid as it did.
One of the episodes I really enjoyed was when Jeff showed up at the bar in a gimp mask (which he forgot he was wearing) and asking his friends about retrieving a key which he swallowed, as one does, to whatever bondage gear was involved.
Sarah needing to feel "moist" and her hypervigilance about her skin - at the funeral!
Jeff's p0rno tapes, and when they were watching Patrick's tapes, and were under the misinformation that the tape was of Patrick and Susan (until Susan pointed out that that was not her ass, and Patrick was a stand-up guy who erased the tapes of Susan out of respect to her).
Speaking of Patrick - Donkey, the Tripod! And Susan's bedside drawer that seemed endless as Jeff was pulling it out, looking for batteries. The shots of him sitting at his desk and leaning back while resting his feet atop the desk and all you could see were
                          (ahem)
reeaallly big shoes for his reeeaallly big…feet!
                          Spider-Man, Spider-Man!
Jane was one of my favourite characters because she was just so offbeat and casual with her opinions. Remember when she brought her therapist to a dinner date, and everyone assumed they were sexual partners since Jane is bisexual. The therapist, not sure what was going on, when asked how long she had been seeing Jane (well, as that question was trying to be asked): Steve was asking her, "How long have you and Jane, erm, uhm, been having…." and the therapist jumps in, "Sessions?" Steve thinking "sessions" referred to their sexual encounters.
Jeff carried the show in my opinion. I know that Richard Coyle said he hated playing the part and he couldn't believe the things they were asking him to do, but damn, he was so perfect for the part! No one else could have played Jeff so spot-on!

Richard was great as Jeff, when he left the show lost a major component
Oddly enough, the writer/show runner was Steven Moffat who was a big name in the Doctor Who world too
A lot of folk were hoping that Richard Coyle could be The Doctor but that never happened
Steven also wrote a show called Press Gang back in the late 80's/early 90's that did exceptionally well with a lot of faces you'd know to see now
Yup, back when British TV was good and funny and thoughtful Lilith. You won't find that these days
