We finally have something we agree on. A terrible film.

Who cares what a guinea wop thinks. Great film.

I've always loved it, and I think it still holds up amazingly well.

              I agree.
              Eraserhead
              is infinitely superior.

                Yeah, that was terrible, too.

                  It didn’t age well.
Not quite sure of what you mean by that.
It was made in the 80's, but had the 50s vibe.
As for disjointed in parts, I'm assuming you are talking about David Lynch's style of directing. I can understand how that could throw some people off. His movies and the TV show wasn't everyone's cup of tea.
                  Correct me if I'm wrong.
Personally, I enjoyed it, although Dennis Hopper gave an extremely unsettling performance, so that could be interpreted as great!
                  The star of the show???
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.

I think so! I've always loved Dean Stockwell and he was superb in this movie.

Were you a fan of Quantum Leap? I have it on DVD but haven't watched it yet.

Yes! I always felt that he was the best part of that show too.

                            I watched
                            Blue Velvet
about a year ago, and came to the same conclusion as you have. 6/10
