He was the only actor in the movie putting in the right level of effort. Pedro Pascal and the dipshit emperors were ok. Everyone else fell flat.
Too many references and fan service to the original.
Fight scenes were mostly good other than some horrible CGI apes.
It could have been a good movie if the gladiator plotline wasn't a part of it.
