Interesting that you associate Christianity with Judaism. Most fools see them as opposites. In reality, Christianity began as a Jewish sect, a rebellion against the corrupt Pharisees. Jesus threw the loan sharks out of the temple. They were exploiting their own people.
Christianity became the ultimate weapon against Greek and Roman religion. It destroyed it. It's as if Yahweh smote Zeus.

No. I liked the revival of Teutonic paganism and by its extension Greek paganism.
After Ernst Rohm was assassinated in 1934, the Nazis lost any true pagan influence. They became Christianized and that led to The Holocaust.
I had a Jewish girlfriend at the time anyway.

I liked it a lot but I’ve only seen it once. In part the story starts the same as The Fall of the Roman Empire (Emperor prefers general over son, begins with the war against the Germanic tribes) but then follows a different course. I love the soundtrack and even like the dance version of the main theme tune.

I'm not overly fond of it. It's very much a "man movie," and seems mainly to appeal to masculine sensibilities. All the same, it's an entertaining watch every now and again, despite Russell Crowe being an unbearably unfriendly actor.
