I just watch my October horror haphazardly, but I'm looking forward to watching Skeleton Key soon. It's been haunting me for a while…
Also the original Omen which is one of the most horrifying movies on my list. -

Skeleton Key
1978, or 2006? I have never seen either. I looked them up. Both sound interesting.
The original Omen is definitely on my October list of films to watch! An entire weekend of THE DEVIL is a MUST!
Tomorrow, I'm thinking of a little fun and laughter before I get into some serious horror…
Love At First Bite and Young Frankenstein

I didn't like The Skeleton Key when I first saw it years ago, but I might give it a rewatch to see if it like it any better. The original Omen is a classic. I have it on blu ray and might rewatch it this month too.

Tonight I watched Slashlorette Party (2020). My review: Directed by Paul Ragsdale and Angelica De Alba, this horror film is about a co-ed bachelorette party where the guests start getting killed off. I enjoyed this a lot. It has a 80s throwback feel to it. There are entertaining kills, some laughs, and even a little nice nudity to spice things up. I thought the performances were fun too. My only complaint is the ending felt anti-climatic and could have been much better. Still, I had a pretty good time up until that point. If you like fun slashers, this is worth checking out. Currently streaming on Amazon Prime. My rating is an 8/10.

I will make a note of this one… Slashlorette Party.
That should be shown at every bachelor/bachlorette party!

October 3rd, and I have decided to dip into my Stephen King collection.
I'm in the mood for
IT
this afternoon. The 1990s mini series, since I watched the latest just last month.
I'm in the mood for the cast of the 90s anyway.
Has anyone ever listened to the audio commentary on the DVD? So many funny stories. If you have seen this movie a number of times, you may find the commentary even more entertaining.

Today, October 4, I watched Stitches (2012). It's a horror movie about a clown who is accidentally killed by some kids and then comes back years later when they are teens to get revenge. It's very bloody and gory, but done in an over the top comedic way. The film is fast paced and fairly entertaining. I would rate Stitches a 7/10.

Thanks!
Today, I didn't get around to watching any movies, but I do have the complete Night Gallery DVD set. It's a 70s anthology series, if you aren't familiar with it. I watched several episodes tonight.
One was from the pilot. The Cemetery, with Roddy McDowall and Ozzy Davis. a very creepy story about a nehew who kills his elderly uncle in order to inherit everything he owns, only to be led to believe that the uncle has come back from the grave.

Oct. 5th
I watched a good one in the wee hours of the morning.
Farm House, 2008
. It's a bit of a psychological thriller.
It's about this young couple who are starting off fresh after their baby dies, by moving away. They get stranded on this country road near a wine orchard. The couple who own the place, are played by Steven Weber and Kelly Hu. They invite them to spend the night in their farmhouse. Those two seem a bit strange right from the start, and they get downright deadly very soon!
As the story continues, you begin to feel less sympathy for the young couple as their secrets are revealed, and their past catches up with them.
I had forgotten that I have this movie. While looking among my DVDs, I decided to watch it again. It was practically like seeing it for the first time. I had forgotten all of the twists and turns this story takes!
