I believe the R rating includes the stipulation that those under 17 are not admitted unless accompanied by an adult, so you weren't hallucinating. And pagg is just doing his usual.

I told her why I preferred going to late showings in my hometown. Those policies are enforced in the two theaters I like to go to one of them being an AMC.
