I'm glad you had a good time, then.
This one time when I watched Heredity in theaters, it was mostly full of white people. For some reason a black male and female sat directly in front of me. The black guy looked visibly terrified. I could tell by his body language. He looked very stiff and both shot a glance at each other during Toni Collete's ulogy about her deranged mom. It was like a "holy ****" type of facial expression.
Later on when her deformed and mentally retarded daughter got decapitated, a bunch of white guys on the other side of the theater started laughing out loud. The black couple sitting in front of me turned their head really fast in the direction of the laughter. I believe the white audience reaction scared them more than the disturbing scenes in the movie. I got a kick out of seeing them afraid. I dunno why. I shouldn't have. That was disturbing for those guys to laugh during that scene. I don't think the creators meant that part to be dark comedy. -

If I'm seeing a horror movie, I like the last showing. Like the 11 PM ones. How do you feel about those?
Love is like a tree: it grows by itself, roots itself deeply in our being, and continues to flourish over a heart in ruin.
