I thought you were the same poster who said that black people shouldn't watch horror movies.
I've been watching horror movies since I was young. I would sneak to watch them. Lilith and Anna Maria are not posters I'm trying to win points with YOU STUPID FUCK! Just because you just got here and met some posters doesn't mean that you know every single thing about them. I've always discussed topics with posters that are not my best friends. You don't have to be my friend on filmboards in order to discuss a movie or tv show with me. Lilith is a pretty good poster. I picked on her because I wanted to hurt Donnie. -

Oh I have a life. Sorry you disagreed with what I did but she kind of put herself out there like that. You don't go into a birthday thread someone created for someone else and overshadow them. She was out of line. He let it happen, so I ****ed with her. She kept doing the same **** in all of my threads. She got what she deserved. I got it out of my system. I don't have a problem with her anymore. Let's not make a huge deal of it, okay?

I loved the ending when
she signed the spell to (maybe?) exorcise that demon at the end. I knew that her photographic memory would come in, and I never saw her using her phone to take the pics of the book. Or the planning of the gas in the grass. I like that they used a rewind in each Act to explain how things turned out the way they did. Man, that ending with the shot gun though, and unloading the shells? AAGHH!
I loved the way all her friends signed so comfortably with her. It was a way to bring in another character and as you pointed out, it was done with great respect.

I know! That look at the end left it open for a sequel. Tossing the book at the gate out in the open, not burning it or getting rid of it? How stupid? BUT…I think it's because she's not alone in there! All for a sequel. PLUS the look in her eyes tells you that it's still in her. So I guess not everything got pulled out of her.
It's kind of like how they ended

Sometimes, demonic possession can change you. Even though I haven't watched the film, people who survive demonic possession won't be the same as they were prior to DP. Demons usually take things with them when you expel them or temporarily destroy them.
Or I may be reading too much horror novels or watch too many horror films as well as other stuff.
I hope a bear throw a book at you, moon at you, and do a tap dance wearing a thong and leather boots. -

That would be my thinking as well. That it takes a piece of you when they're exorcised, but definitely there's no way a person can possibly be the same after that experience.
The loss of memory may be a protective mechanism, but I just don't think it's as simple as "it's all over now" type of thing.
