Okay, I haven't seen this one. But if you compare it to "The Lady in the Water" about the naiad, it can work because it draws more heavily on the Jewish folklore of the Golem, the magical robot. It's set in a medieval European village, not an America apartment complex.

Yeah, I'm much more familiar with golems. My only problem with this is the golem is a child. That busts it up a bit for me, but I'm reserving judgment until I see it.

The Golem should be like Frankenstein's monster.
