Could it be used as an alternative for imdb if they start gutting user profiles? It seems to have gathered a large community in a short amount of time.

Yeah, as far as lists and such. I've been told about it on numerous occasion, but was too damn lazy to actually check and make a profile.

Just signed up for the first time. Posters on the Movie Awards board are posting their Leterboxd info. We should probably start a similar thread.
Since the site already has a relatively large userbase, maybe we can convince them to create a message board that functions like this one?
