My 11 year account mysteriously vanished last week, ratings, history and all. Wouldn't be surprised if they were testing it out on a few of us expendable guinea pigs.

That is fuuking terrible. They just don't care. I think sometimes they almost see us as a burden.

I tried to ask on another board and got mostly snide-type responses. I hope not. At times when the boards have down ad been unavailable the lists etc were still there, so hopefully

I think - I mean, it makes logical sense to me - that they'll keep your ability to log in so you can continue with lists, ratings, reviews, etc. It just won't have the message board function or private messaging.
