Apparently, they lost The Bat Whispers and then found it according to IMDb.
Long thought to be lost, a nitrate print of the film was discovered in the Mary Pickford Estate in 1987 and restored by the UCLA Film and Television Archive in 1988. -

All of these films were lost, by one clumsy handed guy named "Jokesy Jones." He used to work for the place where they preserve films. Jokesy lost them all when he mixed up the garbage with the "what to never throw away" pile.
- The Pilgrim's Puritan Anger (a short silentyes, they still made silents this was just a bunch of pilgrims burning a witch. Pre-special effects they actually did find the hottest woman they could find and set her on fire)
- The Mystery of the Haunted Clue
- The Mystery of the Haunted Yikes
- The House of the Frightening Clue

- Gonna Confuse my Food for Dust, aka Food for Dust
- Pig Willing, I Shall Know the Future Soon
There is only one book I hate more than
As I Lay Dying
and that one is also written by William Faulkner.
