I don't think a great werewolf movie has yet been made.
I would say An American Werewolf in London is my favorite. It's not perfect. There are some odd scenes I would have left out.
The Howling is a close second. I also enjoyed Silver Bullet, the original The Wolfman and The Wolfen.
The most disappointing are Wolf, Dog Soldiers and Company of Wolves.
