Grease 2; how bad is it really?

There was a better movie inside waiting to burst out and it just couldn't quite make it. One can come away at the end feeling a little cheated.
There is zilch chemistry between the 2 leads and since they were unknowns, its like it was used as a vehicle to launch their careers. It looks like Birch really didn't know how to direct her actors either.

Oh, for sure. It was the weak link in this film. Michelle Pfieffer is pretty and probably a good actress, though I have never paid any attention to her. Her semi-tough Pink Lady didn't seem like the most obvious role for her. She did okay. Her most memorable scene is when she douses her french fries with ketchup.
Maxwell Caufield. Oh, he seems like a nice person and he's cute, but he's just not that interesting on the screen. He does not project. My favorite thing about Caufield is that he has been married to Juliet Mills for over 40 years. That's awesome.
The opening number was spirited. And the "reproduction" number was kind of catchy.

Mills has been a beard for Caulfield I feel.
Grease 2
opens with a lot of promise with the Back To School number and then loses its way a bit after that. The high energy and vibrancy then took a wrong turn with the casting of its bland leads.

Really? I have never heard that before. You think MC Hammer is gay? I guess I never really considered it before as I do not find he has much sexual presence.
Do you think Juliet is a lesbian?

I got the big gay boy bells ringing from this one. More so when I saw him in
The Boys Next Door - '85
with Charlie Sheen.
He doesn't have any biological children with Mills, not that means anything, but I really do think the marriage was a cover. That it has lasted is nice though.
Is Juliet lesbian, well homosexuality in females I don't quite rate as being on the same dynamic as males. She had been married previously and had a son.
MC never really got that big of a career afforded him compared to Pfeiffer. Have you seen
Batman Returns - '92
. I find it quite worth watching. Terrific cast and outlandish and dark tone. I don't care for any of the others.

Never saw it and prob. never will.
Thanx for letting me know that I am not missing anything or that I don't have to see it to make my life complete.

Your life will not be complete until you see,
Themrochttps://www.filmboards.com/board/t/Weird-Films-You-Love-3384882/
That film is like no other.
Are you okay? -

Is this it?
If it is, then why didn't you link to it here?
I may check it out but it looks weird and dumb.
My life will be fine if I don't watch it.

Getting sucked into watching bad movies is not for me anymore.
I agree! They can be fun and have their time and place, but I'd rather my time watching something that I can enjoy. Some of those may be bad, but bad endearing.
