I trust my instinct on films and not reviews, especially regarding a film with a great score and a slew of interesting characters. Spielberg is a top tier film-maker and I knew he wouldn't disappoint.
This is first rate, first class film-making and I knew that he would pull it off. Its a universal story and he makes it seem fresh too.

Yeah, I usually don't let what other people say about a Movie decide if I myself want to see that Movie but for this one, the main reason why I don't think I will see it is because I am actually just not really a fan of Musicals.

True!
I myself though have really just never been able to get into them.
I remember when I first watched "
THE SOUND OF MUSIC
", When I saw Julie Andrews running on the hill and then she started singing….I was done with that Movie! -

I haven't liked all his films, but there is no denying in my mind that he is one the current world's greatest living film-makers around. WSS is testament to this and I thought it was a tremendous achievement.

Yes, I have seen
Duel
and it was very very good for a first feature effort. Solid and tense road thriller and a keen central performance by Dennis Weaver.
The film was expanded for a theatrical release.

This
woke POS
cost $100 Million to make, and has only made about $40 Million. It's a
major box office flop!

It really isn't woke and that was something I was concerned about.
Its flopping because of the zoomer/millennial mindset. The film is marvelous.
It is era applicable and only Anybodys character isn't a tomboy, just played by a gender neutral actor that didn't spoil the representation of character. It was even implied as being female in the
Gee Officer Krupke
police station number when Anybodys was placed on bench next to a hooker and all the dudes opposite it.

"played by a gender neutral actor"
???
First of all,
there's no such thing.
That's an LGBTQ fiction. Biologically you're either a male or a female, regardless of your mental state, or how you mutilate your body.
Secondly, I rest my case. It's woke.

That is one character only though and I agree, there is NO such thing as gender neutral, but that is just the woke casting calls and the hands of producers are tied by Hollywarped rulings.
In this instance, as already explained, it is not of detriment to the film, as the character was still technically female wanting to be accepted as one of the boys. The actor identifies as a gender neutral lesbian.
