The best movie Girlfriend ever?

I think you're right. I know I love her in that movie and although I'm doing my best, I can't think of any other 'girlfriend' quite as perfect. Pepper Potts in Iron Man is pretty cool, and although I'm not a Gwyneth fan, I think she portrays Pepper as an amazingly tolerant, down to earth and very loving person.

they would be something more like a model or actress

as should u and me, babe, but we are not doing any of this. we are two extremely hot and banging girls posting on a message baord instead of having a super social real life and hot rich boyfriends who take us out all the time.
that movie, Baby Driver is still crap tho and this particular relationship was treated very superficially and shallow imo -

The ideal movie girlfriend has several essential qualities
1: Shes headstrong and a bit mysterious
2: sheβs a girl next door type whoβs down to earth
3: Sheβs beautiful but not vapid or full of herself
4: Sheβs the protagonistβs Manic pixie Dream girl
in other words, a boring cliched idea of a perfect girlfriend sprung from the imagination of a male writer.
i'm not a fan of this trope, tbh. i challenge all the male writers of romances like this to write female characters as realistic and believable human beings with depth and an own independent motivation in life that doesnt involve dating and being assets in the male character's life, will ya.
**** a straight relationship anyway. all women should go queer. -
