It's about the eponymous character being chosen to save reality. He's kind of a superhero, and there are interesting psychological and philosophical elements that branch off from that core.

This is one of my favorite movies. In the top 5 in my top 20 list. It's an American film classic at this point.

I wouldn't call it one of my favorites, but it's a good movie that isn't like too many other movies.
I remember my favorite Blockbuster worker recommended it. White dude with dreads and we used to talk punk rock and alternative.
