In a way soccer is very dangeroushead injuries; internal bleeding and neck injuries.
Personally, I do not know why you think it is creepy?

Surfing
Sky diving (you are at the mercy of your parachute opening properlyboth of them.)

Well I live in a country which is obsessed with soccer, people die in fights about which team is better there is a soccer mafia here and you can dissapear if you are against the wrong team Very creepy
