You and I disagree on lots of things but overall you seem well put together and state your case fairly
You are right, I mistook the poster in the OP for The Dark Knight Rises which is the worst of the Nolan Batman films.
The Dark Knight is the best with batman Begins a required viewing and very close to as good
The only occasion when there is a burning Batman symbol on a building is TDKR and that's why I confused the poster.

I love Tom Hardy and he was awesome as Bane. Shame they shat on him at the end
Aidan Gillen, Burn Gorman and the usual cast were all great with what they got.
But boy did that movie suck as a comic book story brought into cinema
I've not watched any Harley cartoons since Arleen Sorkin stopped voicing her. I've played games with Tara Strong doing it (She is pretty good at it, needs better lines) but it seems less Looney Tunes and more feminist humour from what I can tell from a distance.
Works for some, I doubt it's for me though

I don't know about the games or any of the old cartoons but the one on HBO, at least the first few seasons, are very much an R-rated Looney Tunes type of humor with superhero characters. Mostly D-list villains.
