My first few gfs were basically like the girls from Thirteen, but more alternative. 2nd ex even kinda looked like Evan's character.
Kids is another depressing one. Sully reminds me of a goofy looking guy named Smiley I used to get high with.
Fast Times at Ridgemont High fits, but I really gotta give it to Dazed & Confused. We didn't have the initiation ****, but it captures the feel and the friendships of adolescence. I knew someone like every single character, and have been a couple. Probably most similar to Mitch, but like not skinny lol.

the breakfast club: i went to a suburban high school. different state, but same characters….just like everybody else who went to public schools.

I love that one, but I feel like my school didn't have such hardline cliques. There were cliques, but a lot of overlap. Like we were mostly skaters and stoners, but we had a redneck friend who also got high with us. Also, weirdly enough, there was overlap between the band geeks and the popular kids. Being in band wasn't that geeky… if you were rich. That seemed to be the thing that determined popularity more than anything.

You don't need to go to school to experience some of this ****. There are even dropouts in some of these films lol.
