There are very few teen movies that come close to a gathering like this. And it was a good movie.

I was a late-bloomer when it comes to that movie, but when I saw it last year, I was blown away.

Actually, I remember loving the book but was disappointed with the film. I agree that the cast was incredible, which added to the disappointment. Maybe it was their casting of Ponyboy - for C Thomas Howell just didn't wow me the way he shold have.
Speaking of C Thomas Howell, he did a good job in Gettysburg, so it wasn't because I felt his acting was lacking just the charisma factor.
