I just watched Mother of Apostles a Ukrainian movie on Amazon Prime Video platform.
This film grips the heart with its unflinching portrayal of a mother's unwavering love in the midst of war's chaos. It's a powerful testament to the resilience of the human spirit, as Sofia, brilliantly portrayed by Natalka Polovynka, embarks on a perilous journey to save her son. The director, Zaza Buadze, masterfully captures the stark realities of life in occupied territories, painting a vivid picture of a land scarred by conflict. The film doesn't just showcase war; it delves into the transformation of a mother into a beacon of hope for all who suffer in its wake. This isn't just a war movie; it's a poignant exploration of love, sacrifice, and the enduring strength of the maternal bond. -

This is so funny. I just watched the movie and you recently posted the trailer. It is a great movie. I did not know that Ukrainian movie makers can actually make something this good. There is a wikipedia article and it says that the movie collected 70+ international movie awards.
