It might be my favorite because its "different"… I like movies centered on one guy.

It's kind of difficult as some can be my favourite but not necessarily the best ever made.
I'm going to skip over Bergman movies because him being among the very best in Swedish film is a given.
In no particular order:
The Sound of Noise
(by the same troupe that made the short film
Music For One Apartment and Six Drummers
, which is GREAT!! Link to the short below the list)
Låt den rätte komma in
(Let the Right One in)
Dom kallar oss mods
(depressing but very gooddocumentary)
Lilja 4-Ever
(actually, most of Moodysson's movies are really good, I could put
A Hole in my Heart
on this lost too, as well as
Fucking Åmål
)
Sånger från andra våningen
(Songs from the Second Floor. Same thing with Roy Andersson. All his stuff is good, and with him, he has a very distinct style.)
Mannen på taket
(70s action thriller with a great vibe to it)
Utvandrarna/Nybyggarna
(period piece that got nominated for an Oscar in 1972, and the year after, 4 Oscar nominations)
There are a few more that I like a lot but I doubt anyone else here would like them much so I'll leave them off.
Music for One Apartment and Six Drummers

Thank u so much for this list!!
i havent seen the first one(s), but i've seen Let the Right One In (it's great), Moodysson's films as u have seen on my list
and Songs from the Second Floor, too, which i also found interesting and fascinating. I have A Swedish Love Story on my list which is an early Roy Andersson film (his debut even? i'm not sure..) and it's very different from his later work, more accessible and rather straight forward but it's a so so so subtly sweet and endearing film, i really really love it. The others u've mentioned i will need to check out. u make them sound very interesting. thanks again! -

No problem!
Yeah that was a Roy Andersson movie and very different to his later work.
I think you'd like
The Sound of Noise
as it's very unusual as a concept (if you liked the short film I posted then you'll love it!).
