A Crazily delightful film. It's like a dream tripping with so many feel good moments and suddenly you awake and realize that you live a bittersweet life. So very well directed.
Emma stone and Ryan Gosling did a great job together. The songs are and lovely and soothing to hear especially 'City of Stars' and 'The fools who dream'.
Damien Chazelle successfully gets that aspect of how people with a dream lives a life that's out of touch with reality. It's a great alternative for people like me who always wanted to watch Singin' in the Rain on big screen.
Gonna watch it again

I badly wanted to watch this, but the assh-le Palhaj Nilihani rated it an A, so I can't. F-ck that guy.
Is there
anything
in the film (apart from language) that warrants an A rating?
Adventure is out there! -

Nope. You can watch it with your family. You will enjoy it better with your girlfriend though.

I think Damien Chazelle is a director for the future.
La la land was pretty great in parts. Where it lacked. Was the songs. Which is a big miss in a musical. None of the songs were either great or tones that stuck.

Yeah enjoyed the movie!
.
I didn't like the ending the though, i guess being brought up on a lot of soppy bollywood endings is the reason
And it wasn't really Bigly overwhelming. Theres song and dance, light romance without the intensity. Yeah i didn't feel the chemistry rightly. But enjoyed it.
Raja Sen gave it 5/5, I didn't think so 3/5 is more like it.
