i watched MAYA (2015) - it is a needlessly intricate tamil horror film. the first half was intriguing atleast. the second half was rubbish. the action scene towards the end went on and on. there was also too much senti crap. and lots of name dropping of classic horror films. and the director even uses the ropey haired ghost girl in a nighty trope. jeez! nayanthara is pretty as a damsel in distress. the rest of the cast was too ugly.

I watched Kapoor & Sons recently and found it sufficiently enjoyable, even though the climax wad overstretched. I have always had a weakness for beautifully shot films set in hill stations.
