Still on the subject of
"Jurassic Park"
, how about when the power was restored to the electric fence while the boy was still on it. Enough power to stop a T-Rex, but no harm to the kid.
Wouldn't having him jump off at the last millisecond have been enough? And more believable?
Remember: In the real world, the electric shock would have knotted the boy's hand muscles closed making him unable to let go.
"Uncle Cosmo, why do they call it a 'Word Processor'?"
"It's really very simple, Skyler. You've seen what food processors to do food?"

Actualy, from memory all of the wires that he is contacting are electric. If all the wires he is touching are at the same electrical potential then there is no current flow, and no electric shock.

I think there was a lot more wrong with that movie besides the filming goofs. Take for example that T Rexes supposedly walk with their heads down tails out for balance, not up right as sown in the movie.

The most obvious goof of all time is an actual movie and it is called "Troll 2"
If the actors aren't actually trying to act the worse they possibly can they should be taken behind the shed if you know what I mean. -

Gladiator. In the fight with the wagons in colosseum. you can clearly see some gas containers at the back of one of the wagons. Can't belive i saw the film so many times before i actually saw it happen.
Best picture ever!

Not very obvious then, was it? -

I think the original Lord of the Flies has more obvious goofs than any other film I've seen. In spite of them all, it is a good film. But one that always makes me laugh is when Jack has a banana in his mouth and you can still hear him talking perfectly clearly.
Another film goof that is just as obvious is an outdoor scene in the original Frankenstein (1931) where you can very plainly see vertical lines against the twilight sky. -

In Lord of The Flies, one of the boys is pretending to be shooting. He repeatedly shoots(bang, bang, bang, etc.) In the time of which this was suppose to be set in they didnt have repeating guns. They only had muzzle loaders. One shot and you had to reload. My husband noticed this one.
